Why I Started Grace Between the Grains

I didn’t plan to start this space.

I didn’t dream about building a ministry or a platform.
I didn’t set out to share my failures publicly.

I just… lived through something that broke me.
And found grace waiting in the ruins.

Grace Between the Grains was born from a season where everything I thought I had — marriage, family, reputation, calling —
crumbled right in front of me.

And yet…
God wasn’t done.

He met me there — not after I had it all cleaned up, but right there in the mess.
He didn't discard me.
He didn't shame me.

He loved me.
Restored me.
Called me still.

Now I write for the woman who feels like she’s ruined her story.
For the mother who wonders if the damage is too deep.
For the daughter who needs to be reminded:
you’re never too far gone for grace.

This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about presence.
About knowing that even here — between the grains, between the broken places — God is still working.

This is Grace Between the Grains.

And I’m so glad you’re here.

“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”
— 2 Corinthians 12:9
